We are a not for profit public library specialising in business information, seminars and workshops and meeting room hire, supporting around 50,000 customers each year, 64% of which are businesses ranging from pre start-ups to SME’s (small and medium enterprise). We are based in the City of London with great transport links so we are really easy to get to.
What type of business information do we have?
We are the only dedicated public library for business information offering free access to the UK’s most comprehensive collection of business databases and publications, including general start up advice, information on market research, plus national and international coverage for statistics, company data and business news.

I need to attend some events to push my business forward!
Here at the City Business Library, we offer a large range of events, seminars, workshops and one to ones. We have workshops teaching you how to utilise the databases in the library, seminars about social media and business growth online and special events about international trade.
We have also recently launched our very own Small business networking lunch so that you, our customers can meet like minded people and build your contacts.
