Starting a business is one of the most exciting things to do, but it’s not so easy when you just don’t know where to start, or even what you have to do to get it up and running.
This is where the City Business Library can help you, with resources, advice and guidance. Our passion is to help you turn your idea into reality, and we have a range of services that might interest you.
- With a great range of specialist resources, some of which you can access remotely, and all of which are completely FREE for you to use, you can get invaluable data to start and run your business! The information we have for you is reliable, up to date, and not freely available on the Internet. So come into the Library and make full use of all these incredible resources.
- Through our website you can get free online business chat with one of our partner organisations – useful for any stage of your business.
- There is an exciting programme of seminars to give you information and guidance along the way, as well as great networking opportunities.
- We offer 121 business start-up advice sessions.
And finally, we run regular 90 minute workshops ‘Introduction to business start-up’, the next one is on 7th Dec at 10am. This session is run by one of our Business Librarians who are also qualified Business start-up Advisers. With a maximum of 8 people in the group it is an excellent place to start and with a small group there is plenty of time for individual questions. Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
